  • Design structures, such as buildings, skids, modular container structures
  • Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved
  • Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges
  • Planning and scheduling construction work
  • Assisting in preparation of construction documents
  • Reviewing construction documents and drawings
  • Providing guidance and direction to team members
  • Coordinating construction and installation of structures

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering (Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role
  • Professional work experience in developing blueprints and designs for proposed structures
  • Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency with CAD software
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and fast-tracking project environment
  • Advanced understanding of build materials, techniques and processes
  • Advanced knowledge of international building codes (Eurocode, ASCE, ANSI etc.)
  • Up to date understanding of best practices regarding building safety measures
