We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and ensure the safety and stability of structural systems for various construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing structural designs, performing calculations, reviewing drawings, assessing materials, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and project teams to deliver safe and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Structural Design & Analysis
Develop structural designs for buildings, bridges, industrial structures, and infrastructure projects.
Perform structural calculations for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
Conduct load analysis (dead load, live load, wind, seismic, thermal, etc.).
Use engineering software such as
STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, ANSYS
, or similar.
Ensure structural integrity, serviceability, and compliance with codes and standards (AISC, IS, Eurocode, BS, etc.).
Optimize designs for cost efficiency, durability, and constructability.
Technical Drawings & Documentation
Review and approve structural drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication plans.
Prepare design reports, calculation sheets, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with CAD technicians, detailers, and BIM modelers.
Conduct checks to ensure drawings reflect design intent accurately.
Project Coordination
Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and project managers.
Attend project meetings and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Interpret architectural plans and integrate structural design requirements.
Support construction teams with clarifications, site meetings, and problem-solving.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
2-5+ years experience (or more depending on level).
Strong knowledge of structural design principles, load behavior, and material properties. And Good exposure ANSYS
Proficiency in engineering software:
Excellent analytical skills and mathematical ability.
Understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
Ability to interpret codes and industry standards.
