Job Description

We are seeking a motivated

Structural Drafter

to assist in the preparation of structural drawings for residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior drafters and structural engineers to produce accurate, well-coordinated drawings in accordance with project specifications and international codes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare structural drawings, plans, sections, and details using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit). Assist senior drafters and engineers with drafting tasks and design revisions. Update drawings based on engineer mark-ups and project changes. Ensure drawings comply with company standards, building codes, and project requirements. Coordinate structural drawings with architectural, civil, and MEP drawings. Organize and maintain drawing files and revision records. Perform basic quantity take-offs and schedules as required. Support the preparation of shop drawings and construction documentation.
Required Qualifications

Diploma or certificate in Structural Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of structural systems (concrete, steel, timber). Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience

2-5 years of experience in structural drafting or a related role. Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials. Willingness to learn and take direction from senior staff.
