Prepare detailed structural drawings for RCC and structural steel works in accordance with approved design calculations and specifications.
Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, reinforcement detailing drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and steel fabrication/shop drawings.
Coordinate with structural engineers to understand design intent and incorporate revisions accurately.
Review and update drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and consultant/client comments.
Ensure drawings comply with relevant international codes, local authority requirements, and project standards.
Assist in clash coordination with architectural and MEP drawings to avoid site conflicts.
Maintain proper document control, drawing logs, and revision histories.
Support project teams during tender, construction, and as-built stages.
Liaise with internal teams and, where required, with external consultants and contractors for technical clarifications.
Key Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a Structural Draftsman.
Proven experience in RCC and structural steel detailing for buildings and infrastructure projects.
Prior exposure to GCC projects and engineering consultancy environment is mandatory.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit Structure is an advantage.
Strong understanding of construction methodology, reinforcement detailing standards, and steel connections.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
Familiarity with authority submission requirements in UAE or other GCC countries.
Attention to detail with strong quality-checking skills.
