to prepare accurate structural drawings and models for various civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural codes, with experience in detailing concrete and steel structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed structural drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS) for RCC and steel structures.
Review and interpret architectural and structural engineering designs and specifications.
Create 2D/3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or similar software.
Ensure compliance with local and international structural design and detailing standards (IS, ACI, BS, etc.).
Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and contractors for design integration.
Conduct quality checks and revisions on drawings before submission.
Maintain version control of drawings and adhere to project timelines.
Prepare fabrication and erection drawings for structural components.
Assist in quantity estimation and material take-offs when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
2+ years of experience in structural detailing (RCC and/or steel structures).
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit Structure / Tekla / STAAD is a plus.
Familiarity with structural detailing codes (IS 456, IS 800, ACI, BS, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with industrial, commercial, or high-rise building projects.
Knowledge of BIM workflows and clash detection.
Exposure to international detailing standards and practices.
