Primary Purpose of the Job:


To provide professional engineering design detail services to Stantec's global regional office to help them minimize risks and maximize profits for Consultancy contracts.


In order to ensure the above requirements, the individual must produce conceptual and detailed drawings, reinforcement and steelwork drawings as well as the associated schedules while complying with health and safety requirements, designs specifications and standards pertaining to the contract.


Key Accountabilities:


The Structural Detailer shall be responsible for delivery of 3D BIM models and associated documentation. Develop and manage detailed 3D structural models using Autodesk Revit. Prepare reinforced concrete and steel general arrangement drawings, details, and schedules from BIM models which are clear, accurate, cost effective, meet the requirements of the specification and which can be constructed and commissioned safely and effectively. Coordinate with other disciplines (Architecture, MEP, Civil) to ensure model integration and clash-free designs. Follow and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific standards. Follow QA/QC procedures and processes. Participate in model reviews, clash detection, and coordination meetings. Maintain model integrity and version control throughout the project lifecycle. Support engineers in design development and documentation. Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes and standards. Coordinate and communicate with regional team to understand scope, markups.
Person Specifications:


Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in structural BIM modeling/detailing using Revit. Strong knowledge of structural systems (Steel, Concrete, etc.). Familiarity with BIM standards such as ISO 19650 and LOD specifications. Experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 or similar CDE platforms. Good communication and collaboration skills. Experience with Dynamo or other BIM automation tools is plus. Exposure to international codes and multidisciplinary projects. Relevant experience from core structural discipline only is preferable
