to support the engineering design of onshore and offshore projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing structural drawings and models in compliance with project specifications, international codes, and client requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare
structural design drawings
including general arrangement, foundation, steel structure, and connection details.
Develop
2D drawings and 3D models
using industry-standard software.
Coordinate with
structural engineers, civil, piping, and other disciplines
to ensure design consistency.
Revise drawings based on
engineering comments, client feedback, and site requirements
.
Ensure all drawings comply with
project specifications, international standards, and HSE requirements
.
Assist in
material take-offs (MTOs)
and drawing-based quantities.
Support
design reviews, technical clarifications, and constructability checks
.
Maintain proper
document control
and follow project schedules to meet deadlines.
Provide
as-built drawings
and support during construction, if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in
Civil / Structural Engineering
or related field.
Minimum
3-8 years of experience
in structural design (oil & gas / industrial projects preferred).
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
.
Knowledge of
AISC, BS, Eurocode, API, and other relevant standards
.
Experience in
onshore/offshore structural design
is an added advantage.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a
multidisciplinary environment
.
