About the Role



We are looking for an experienced

Structural Designer

who has hands-on exposure to designing and coordinating advanced automated parking systems--specifically

AGV-based and shuttle-based parking structures

. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working with well-known car parking OEMs in India and should be capable of leading structural planning, calculations, and supplier coordination for project execution.

Key Responsibilities



Structural design of

automated shuttle car parking systems

, including steel structures, beams, columns, channels, and load-bearing elements. Understand operational, dynamic, and static load requirements of AGV/robotic parking systems. Coordinate with

AGV suppliers

, shuttle system providers, MEP teams, and automation contractors for seamless integration. Prepare structural design drawings, GA drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, and design calculations. Perform structural analysis using software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, or Tekla. Evaluate site constraints and develop optimal structural layouts for parking systems. Ensure compliance with BIS, IS codes, NBC norms, fire safety norms, and seismic design standards. Conduct design reviews, feasibility assessments, and BOQ preparation. Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning stages. Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and OEM representatives. Perform quality checks and resolve site issues related to structure or system alignment. Support project management team with documentation, timelines, and design change handling.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Minimum

5-8 years of experience

in structural design for automated parking systems or industrial steel structures. Hands-on experience with car parking OEMs such as: Klaus, Wohr, Nexion, Mach, Stalwart, Parkmatic, Future Parking, Hyundai systems, or similar. Strong understanding of robotic parking layouts, AGV/Shuttle paths, and load distribution. Proficiency in CAD tools: AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks (optional), and structural software. Strong analytical, calculation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage design timelines and coordinate multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of fabrication and installation processes of steel structures.

Preferred Qualifications



Experience specifically in

automated shuttle or AGV-based parking

(not just stackers or puzzle systems). Exposure to multi-level car parks, MSCP structures, and heavy steel fabrication projects. Working knowledge of BIM modeling / 3D coordination. Previous experience in OEM technical teams or project engineering roles.

Personal Attributes



Strong communication and coordination skills. Detail-oriented approach with high accuracy in calculations. Ability to work independently and handle end-to-end structural deliverables. Willingness to visit project sites when required.

Competitive and based on experience.
