Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer with experience in LGSF (Light Gauge Steel Frame) systems. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in structural analysis, understanding of architectural drawings, and proficiency in industry-leading software like Vertex BD, Revit, Midas, or STAAD Pro. You will be responsible for designing safe, cost-effective, and code-compliant LGSF structures, working closely with architects and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, analyze, and optimize LGSF structures based on architectural layouts.

Perform structural analysis and simulation for wind load, seismic load, dead/live loads, etc.

Develop accurate 3D models and construction-ready drawings using Vertex BD or Revit.

Use STAAD Pro / Midas or equivalent for structural integrity analysis and compliance checks.

Collaborate with the architectural team to ensure structural designs align with the overall project vision.

Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.

Provide BOQ (Bill of Quantities), weight estimations, and structural detailing as per project requirements.

Coordinate with vendors, site engineers, and other stakeholders for design implementation.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and engineering best practices.

Maintain proper documentation of calculations, assumptions, and revisions.

Required Skills & Software Knowledge:

Vertex BD - Advanced knowledge in LGSF modeling and detailing.

Revit (BIM) - For architectural understanding and coordination.

STAAD Pro / Midas - For structural analysis and simulation.

Sound understanding of structural engineering principles, especially for LGSF construction.

Familiarity with IS codes, NBC, and/or international standards (Eurocode/AISI/BS).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
