Responsibilities:
1 Conduct aerodynamic simulations and analyses to optimize the drone's / UAV flight performance, stability, and efficiency.
2 Design and develop drone structures that are lightweight, durable, and capable of withstanding various operating conditions.
3 Utilize computer-aided design (CAD - Solidworks) software to create detailed and precise drone components and assemblies.
4 Evaluate and select appropriate materials for drone components based on performance requirements, cost considerations, and weight constraints.
5 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate designs and make necessary improvements.
6 Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that designs can be effectively produced at scale while meeting quality standards.
7 Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in drone design and engineering processes.
8 Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.
9 Strong in engineering fundamentals: Structural and Aerodynamics.
Qualifications:
BE/B.Tech/Masters - Mechanical / Structural / Aerospace Engineering (Top 50 in NIRF)
