Job Description

We're expanding our team and seeking a

motivated, detail-oriented Structural CAD Draftsperson

with a

minimum of 5 years of structural drafting experience (AutoCAD)

. The role offers an excellent compensation package and

work flexibility. You'll collaborate with engineers to develop and refine structural designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed structural drawings and plans using

AutoCAD

and related drafting tools.

Collaborate with engineers to develop and refine

structural drawings

.

Review and interpret engineering

blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

.

Ensure drawings comply with

industry standards, building codes, and regulations

.

Participate in project meetings and provide technical input on drafting topics.

Maintain organized records of

drawings, revisions, and as-builts

in project folders.

Qualifications

5+ years

of experience in structural drafting.

Proficiency with

AutoCAD

(required)

MUST own your computer and AutoCAD Software

Familiarity with the

Autodesk

toolset,

Microsoft Office

, and

Microsoft Teams

access/usage.

Solid understanding of

structural engineering principles

and relevant building codes.

Strong attention to detail and drafting accuracy.

Ability to read and interpret

engineering blueprints

and technical drawings.

Effective communication and collaboration skills; able to manage multiple deadlines.

Diploma

or

certificate

in drafting, engineering technology, or related field preferred.
