Job Description

Job summary:
We are seeking an experienced CAD Engineer specializing in bridge structures with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing detailed structural drawings using MicroStation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing 2D/3D models, drawings, and construction documentation for a variety of bridge and transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to project standards.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare detailed drawings and models for bridge structures using MicroStation
Support structural engineers by translating design sketches and calculations into accurate construction drawings
Develop plans, elevations, sections, and reinforcement details for bridge superstructures and substructures
Coordinate with other disciplines (road, drainage, geotechnical) to ensure design integration
Review and incorporate design markups and redlines
Maintain CAD standards and follow project-specific workflows and file management practices
Assist in clash detection and 3D modeling (if applicable)
Ensure all deliverables comply with client and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in bridge drafting and detailing using MicroStation
Solid understanding of bridge structural components, materials, and construction techniques
Familiarity with various types of bridges (e.g., concrete, steel, precast, cable-stayed)
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and codes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drafting
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
