The Stroke Rehabilitation Nurse provides comprehensive care and rehabilitation support to stroke patients, helping them regain independence and improve quality of life. She collaborates with doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to deliver personalized recovery plans and ensure holistic patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients' post-stroke condition and monitor recovery progress.
Provide nursing care including medication administration and vital monitoring.
Assist in mobility training, speech therapy, and daily activity support.
Educate patients and families on home care, lifestyle, and prevention of recurrence.
Maintain accurate medical records and report progress to the medical team.
Promote a positive and motivating environment for patient recovery.
Requirements:
GNM / B.Sc Nursing qualification (Registered Nurse).
1+ year experience in stroke rehab, neuro, or critical care units.
Strong communication, empathy, and patient management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
