Job Description

:
Perform stress analysis for aircraft primary structures using classical methods and Finite Element (FE) techniques.
Responsibilities

• Conduct LS-Dyna modeling and analysis for commercial gas turbine engine components.
• Develop sub-component and component-level FE models and perform simulations.
• Analyze impact events such as Fan Blade Out, containment, bird/ice impact.
• Support pre-test predictions for impact tests to ensure successful component and engine certification.
• Work with design and integration teams to ensure structural requirements are met.
• Prepare technical reports and participate in design reviews.
• Contribute to process improvements and enhance simulation techniques.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in stress analysis and FE modeling.
• Hands-on experience with LS-Dyna (PrePost and Solver).
• Familiarity with implicit and explicit solvers.
• Experience in FE modeling using Hypermesh.
• Basic knowledge of bird modeling techniques (Lagrangian, SPH, ALE) is a plus.
• Exposure to NASTRAN/PATRAN is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with metallic and composite impact analysis.
• Understanding of damage and failure modeling.
