A leading Aquatic Centre in Bangalore is looking for a Strength and Conditioning Coach to join the team ASAP!
Educational Qualification & Experience:
Degree in Exercise & Sports Science or Sports Physiotherapy from a recognised University.
Relevant certificate in Strength and Conditioning.
Working experience of 2-3 years (desirable) with demonstrated ability to handle and supervise athletes.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the elite team of coaches in order to formulate training programs for pre-competitive and competitive batches of swimmers.
To transform athletic potential into peak swimming performance through scientific training methods.
Actively supervise all the strength and conditioning sessions and ensure proper implementation of programs.
To ensure that the protocol of safety is followed rigorously while performing sessions.
Actively engage in data collection, collation and analysis. Also, to share the progress reports with 'Head of Coaching Unit and 'Head of Centre' on periodic basis.
Development of future programs in line with the requirements and status of swimmers.
Demonstrated knowledge of injury rehabilitation and management of load.
To ensure the upkeep of all the strength and cardio machines.
Suggest ways to initiate and administer the membership programs for general public.
