Role Overview

We are looking for a

STREAM Mentor

who can confidently connect

Science and Mathematics concepts

with

coding, physical computing, and real-world applications

.
The focus is on

concept clarity, logical thinking, and application-based learning

.

This is not textbook teaching -- it's

activity-driven, maker-style education

.

Key Responsibilities

Teach

Science & Math concepts

using hands-on experiments and activities Connect topics like: Motion, force, energy, electricity, light Measurement, ratios, logic, graphs, patterns Real-life math through coding & models Conduct STREAM sessions for Grades 4-10 / 10-18 yrs Teach basics of: Coding (Scratch / PictoBlox / Python - fundamentals)

Physical Computing & Smart Systems

(sensors, motors, LEDs, controllers) AI & IoT (introductory, concept-based) Guide students in building mini projects applying science & math Encourage curiosity, questioning, and problem-solving Support workshops, exhibitions, and demo days
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's / Diploma in

Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field

Strong conceptual understanding of

school-level Science & Math

Ability to explain ideas clearly using

models, visuals, and experiments

Good communication skills (English + local language preferred) Comfortable working with students and lab equipment Willingness to learn new tools and teaching methods
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

Experience teaching Science / Math to school students Familiarity with Arduino, Micro:bit, Raspberry Pi, Pico Interest in physical computing, AI, or maker education Experience with activity-based learning
