Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager specializing in Electric Powertrain Components for Electric Vehicles (EVs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, supplier management, cost optimization, and strategic negotiations within the EV industry. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing sourcing strategies to ensure the availability of high-quality powertrain components at optimal costs.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for electric powertrain components, including motors, batteries, inverters, and controllers.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Work closely with R&D, and development teams to align sourcing decisions with business goals.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to track industry trends, emerging technologies, and cost drivers.
• Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships for long-term partnerships.
• Manage and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, regulatory compliance, and global sourcing challenges.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising on quality and performance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and industry regulations related to electric powertrain components.
• Utilize data analytics and procurement tools to improve decision-making and sourcing efficiency

• Experience working with global suppliers and sourcing markets.
• Knowledge of automotive industry standards, quality control, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
