The Opportunity
The Professional Services Sales organization has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic group of services experts. We are looking for qualified candidates with a unique combination of sales and enterprise software services delivery experience. The Strategic Services Manager - India & Southeast Asia is a key position within Professional Services Sales responsible for partnering with our Account Executives, Customer Success Managers and Renewal Specialists in generating services sales pipeline, positioning the value of our professional services, scoping services work/Statements of Work to deliver value to customers and achieving Services bookings targets.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the development of sales plans and strategies. Meet defined sales goals and objectives.
  • Support new sales opportunities by aligning Planview's services offerings, your knowledge and expertise with customer needs ensuring alignment with regional business practices.
  • Build credibility and trust with the sales team, partners and prospects/customers by acting as a trusted business advisor leveraging your knowledge and background to advise and guide prospects and customers on how to achieve their "to be" state with the fastest path to value.
  • Define and scope the Professional Services effort and estimate cost and schedule to achieve customer objectives while adhering to defined guardrails for "as sold" margin requirements.
  • Prepare and present services proposals to prospects and customers.
  • Prepare and negotiate Statements of Work including terms, pricing, and scope.
  • Meet or exceed defined Bookings and "As Sold" margin targets for project and subscription services offerings.
  • Build and maintain a strong service opportunity pipeline with a focus on large enterprises and government sectors within India and Southeast Asia.
  • Provide accurate and up to date reporting on sales activities and progress as required by management.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services and Customer Success to ensure a seamless handoff to the delivery teams and to ensure cross-team collaboration on cultivating and identifying additional services opportunities in support of customer value achievement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and oversight of services delivery partners in the region
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and management to continuously improve service and employee engagement while fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, innovation, and inclusion.
Stay up to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, platform/solutions, and services offerings and methodologies.
What You'll Bring
We are seeking an individual who possesses strong business, consulting, sales, and leadership aptitude, with a customer driven mindset, who can promote and sell services effectively.
Interested candidates should have:
Experience with:
  • Working with customer stakeholders, including C-level executives and Transformation offices in the India and Southeast Asia Region.
  • Multi-year experience as a product/project/program/PMO/EMPO manager or other consulting experience
  • Business process analysis and consulting experience, preferably in an Enterprise or digital transformation environment.
  • Proven experience in creating SOW's and negotiating contracts tailored to regional business norms.
  • Bookings forecasting and margin responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of navigating complex global and regional organizations successfully.
  • Preferred 4 years in a consulting role with experience in India and Southeast Asia
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Management of Information Science, or Business (or related degree) or demonstrated relevant experience.
  • Related certifications or industry designations preferred (e.g., LPM, SAFe, PMP, MBA, CPA, etc.)
Additional Qualifications:
  • Broad understanding of SaaS software implementations and related organizational change management
  • Ability to learn and apply industry knowledge to drive services bookings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate conversations between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Remain calm under pressure and navigate complex of customer interactions.
  • Willingness to travel as required within the region.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication with the ability to drive value-based conversations with senior stakeholders.
  • Sales minded approach with commercial understanding of project and company margin drivers.
  • Self-starter with strong organization and time management skills
  • Preferred experience with Planview platform and solutions
  • Preferred experience with co-selling and co-delivering with strategic partners
