Job Description

Purpose:
To execute all the critical projects (new & existing) related to Cutting tool business
Education Qualification: B.Tech/ Diploma (Mechanical)
Experience required: 10+ Years
Technical & Professional Knowledge required: Exposure in Abrasives or Cutting tools
Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Drive the Productivity and Quality Improvement Projects & Manufacturing Engineering located at CPN & Ancillaries (incl Nashik)
• Capacity Enhancement Projects
• 100% Implementation of Value Streams ie. Layout changes to maximize productivity / output generation.
• Implementation of Projects through various innovative methods to optimize the Process Cost - Cycle time/Machine Hour Rates/Labour/Power Cost/Consumables etc.
• Upgrading and modernizing machines with the help of external suppliers
• Well versed with quality systems & standards like ISO 9001:2008, QMS, TPM,5S, IS: 14001 and OHSAS:18001 etc. Should be familiar with ERP system like SAP
• Execution of new projects (such as Taps/Special Drill expansion)
