Procurement professional who undertakes activities to ensure the efficient and effective procurement of a defined portfolio of goods and services (mid value/risk level) within established business/JM policies and guidelines. Medium level complexity of direct or indirect buying activities; and/or medium risk to the business.
Job purpose
As a Strategic Procurement Business Partner, you lead execution and delivery of mid - long term functional strategy and relevant procurement activities within your business unit / region through local and / or global teams, as well as outsourced BPO procurement organisation. You are accountable for ensuring adherence to global JM policies, procedures, category strategies whilst addressing, and representing in functional forums, key business needs of your stakeholders. A core part of the role is to ensure compliance to the deployed Procurement operating model, help to drive clarity of responsibilities across JM stakeholders and suppliers, lead collaboration and alignment between global, JMGS and site teams. Apart from delivering on stretch key procurement performance metrics in your assigned business unit / geography, you will be also expected to champion process excellence and drive continuous improvement within overall functional operating model.
