As part of our business growth which involves multi-million Euro investments at our flagship and state of the art Manufacturing site of Sanand, we are looking for a Project Director to lead and manage strategic investments He/She will be responsible for defining investment roadmap and project milestones to ensure its successful delivery. The position will coordinate various stakeholders from all functions internally and will represent the company to local public institutions, suppliers, etc. This role will work very closely with global function leaders in the project execution phase.

The Strategic Investments Project Director will:

Participate with the technical teams in the definition of the investment scopes and industrial roadmap, prepare the execution strategy and identify critical activities requiring early engagement of identified internal and external stakeholders. Ensure close coordination and regular common reviews with all stakeholders globally. In project execution, is responsible for the results of the project with the support of the functions. Define the objectives of the project and its execution strategy. This will include for example: EHS compliance and opportunities, Sourcing strategy, real estates, civil work, Equipment/Machine selection, Process & Product qualification, Government approval, Performance management on all aspects of the investments (buildings, machines, manpower & skills management, process efficiencies...) Eager to learn the process and challenge it towards automation , robotization and digitalization. Manage and lead the project team to achieve the defined objective ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery (adherence to schedule/OTD), Cost/Budget targets. Secure with all functions the knowledge and application of EHS and Nuclear Safety rules. Establish, implement and maintain operating standards and process to ensure project results. Identify any deviations to project roadmap. Define and implement the mitigation plan to ensure the success of the project across the entire organization with the support from relevant functions & teams. Act as a guarantor of the project planning to secure the delivery dates in accordance with project planning and manufacturing operations (S&OP). Optimize continuously project costs. This includes leveraging relevant public grants schemes. Carry out continuous risk and opportunity management. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, local public authorities, subcontractors, suppliers to ensure smooth project operations... Conduct negotiations partners and/or subcontractors/suppliers, Prepare and present project reviews to senior leadership. Prepare and present project reviews to employee's representatives/work councils. Define and deliver internal communication plan regarding the project. Set up and monitor project operational outcome indicators and KPI. Capture feedback and best practices Act as a Lean promoter for problem solving and ensure a Lean approach on the project (flow management, inventories, digitalization, 4.0 factory, ...) Ensure that the required resources and expertise are allocated to the project and contribute to their development.

Qualification and required Leadership Skills:

Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or Post Graduation in Business administration with Engg Background 15+ years of experience in the energy/ power/ heavy manufacturing industry with at least 5 years of experience in project management of large or complex greenfield/ brownfield projects . Knowledge and past experience of Manufacturing, engineering, procurement will be beneficial. Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior Arabelle Solutions and external stakeholders at all levels Ability to demonstrate good people leadership, influencing and management skills Extensive knowledge of project management fundamentals (planning, project control, project risk management , financial etc.). Ability to lead cross-functional teams. Proven experience in leading teams to achieve Project Management excellence. Ability to manage projects in high-pressure, time-constrained environments. Excellent at building and managing relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors Good commercial knowledge for assessing business risks and opportunities Integrity: Uphold and adhere to high ethical, moral, and personal values in decision-making, communications, actions, and interactions with others. Language: English & Hindi (Fluent)

Desired Qualification/ Knowledge:

Knowledge of Gujarati language will be beneficial (but not mandatory) Knowledge in nuclear safety fundamentals & exposure to Nuclear Power Industry Six Sigma Black Belt/ Green Belt / Good command on problem solving PMP Certification or Exposure
