Strategic Client Partnerships Lead
to drive commercial growth, develop strong customer partnerships, and support business expansion initiatives within the Indian automotive market. This position requires a techno-commercial professional with deep industry experience who can seamlessly navigate customer requirements, support new product development, and influence commercial strategy. Candidates with Korean nationality and experience operating within India are strongly preferred due to the collaborative nature of global customer relationships.
Role Summary
The Strategic Client Partnerships Lead will serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment across business expectations, technical requirements, and long-term commercial objectives. The role requires strong relationship management skills, sharp commercial acumen, and the ability to manage complex pricing, contracts, and supply-chain-linked negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
Build, nurture, and grow strategic client relationships to support long-term collaboration and recurring business.
Understand customer requirements thoroughly and coordinate timely solutions across engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams.
Identify new revenue opportunities and recommend product offerings aligned with market and customer needs.
Coordinate internal cross-functional efforts to respond to RFQs, prepare techno-commercial proposals, and support sales planning and forecasting.
Support commercial negotiations for pricing, change requests, and long-term business agreements within approved parameters.
Manage pricing reviews and adjustments based on raw material fluctuations, currency variations, and cost structure updates.
Maintain accurate commercial documentation and pricing master data in relevant systems such as SAP.
Facilitate change management approval processes and ensure transparent communication with clients.
Prepare business proposals, feasibility assessments, and risk evaluations to inform new product development decisions.
Provide support for financial processes such as payment follow-ups, dispute resolution, debit note management, and reconciliation.
Collaborate with logistics partners and regional teams in establishing and negotiating logistics and distribution contracts.
Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and environmental standards across commercial operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field (advanced degree preferred).
6-8 years of techno-commercial and customer-facing experience in the automotive components or manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of commercial costing, production processes, and engineering workflows.
Experience working in the Indian business ecosystem is mandatory.
