to manage the daily operations of our Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and/or Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The ideal candidate should ensure proper treatment of water and sewage, maintain plant equipment, and comply with safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor
STP/WTP systems, pumps, and machinery
.
Conduct
routine inspections and preventive maintenance of plant equipment
.
Monitor
water quality, chemical dosing, and treatment processes
.
Maintain operational
logs, records, and reports
.
Ensure compliance with
environmental, safety, and local regulatory standards
.
Identify
operational issues
and
troubleshoot problems
promptly.
Coordinate with management for
maintenance, repairs, and resource planning
.
Handle emergencies such as
equipment breakdowns or plant malfunctions
.
Assist in
inventory management
of
chemicals, spare parts, and other plant supplies
.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / ITI / Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related field.
2-5 years of experience
in operating STP/WTP or water treatment facilities.
Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and chemical dosing.
Ability to monitor and operate pumps, motors, valves, and control systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in institutional, commercial, or residential STP/WTP setups.
Certification in water/wastewater treatment operations
is a plus.
Knowledge of
basic electrical and mechanical maintenance
.
