Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and experienced

STP Operator

to handle the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). The candidate will ensure smooth functioning of the plant and compliance with environmental norms.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor STP systems and equipment Maintain daily logbooks and operational records Check water quality parameters (pH, BOD, COD, TSS, etc.) Perform routine maintenance of pumps, blowers, and panels Handle sludge management and disposal Identify faults and report breakdowns immediately Ensure treated water meets Pollution Control Board norms Assist during inspections and audits

Requirements

ITI / Diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) preferred Minimum 1-3 years experience in STP/ETP operation Basic knowledge of sewage treatment processes Ability to work in shifts, if required Physically fit and safety-conscious

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with PCB norms Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting Record keeping and reporting

Salary

As per industry standards / Negotiable
