ITI / Diploma / B.Sc. in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field
Job Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) to ensure efficient functioning.
Check and maintain water quality parameters such as pH, BOD, COD, TDS, and DO.
Inspect and operate pumps, aerators, blowers, valves, filters, and other equipment.
Handle dosing of chemicals like chlorine, alum, and lime as per requirement.
Maintain records/logs for flow rates, test results, chemical usage, and plant performance.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance and report any abnormalities or breakdowns.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) standards.
Supervise sludge handling and maintain hygienic plant conditions.
Skills Required:
Basic knowledge of STP technologies like SBR, MBBR, or conventional processes.
Ability to read meters and understand basic instrumentation.
Troubleshooting capability for minor equipment issues.
Willingness to work in shifts and during emergency operations.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
