Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative

Storyboard Artist

to visually interpret scripts and bring narrative concepts to life. For this

1-year contract role

, you'll create clear, expressive, and animation-ready storyboards that guide the visual direction of our animated learning videos.

Key Responsibilities

Translate written scripts and concepts into clear, engaging storyboards with attention to pacing, framing, and character actions. Create

visual sequences

that communicate the flow of scenes, camera angles, movements, and transitions. Collaborate with content writers, visualizers, and animators to ensure alignment between story, visuals, and intended learning outcomes. Present ideas in thumbnail, rough, and clean storyboard formats. Iterate based on feedback and maintain consistency in visual storytelling style across projects.

Must-Have Skills

Strong drawing skills and a keen sense of storytelling, scene composition, and visual pacing. Proficiency in

Photoshop

,

Storyboard Pro

, or other digital drawing tools. Ability to create expressive character poses, emotions, and gestures across frames. Understanding of animation pipeline, timing, and transitions. Experience creating storyboards for animated content (2D preferred).

Nice-to-Have Skills

Background in animation, film, or visual communication. Experience working on

educational, explainer, or training videos

. Familiarity with instructional design principles and how visuals support learning outcomes. Ability to create simple animatics or motion boards (not mandatory).
