Responsible for managing all inventory and store-related operations in the manufacturing unit. Maintain accurate records of stock including raw materials, packaging items, consumables, and finished goods. Monitor stock levels regularly and ensure materials are available as per production requirements. Handle inward and outward material movement using ERP or inventory management systems. Conduct regular stock audits, physical verification, and ensure reconciliation with system records. Follow FIFO method and proper storage practices for items with shelf-life like inks, chemicals, etc. Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and follows 5S and safety standards. Coordinate with purchase, production, and quality departments for smooth material flow. Raise material requisitions in time and track pending deliveries and stock shortages. Supervise storekeepers and helpers, assign duties, and monitor team performance. Maintain proper documentation such as GRNs, issue slips, stock registers, and dispatch records. Liaise with transporters and vendors for timely delivery and dispatch of materials. Ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance stores efficiency.
