Job Description

1.

Inventory Management



Maintain accurate stock levels and records. Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations. Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expiry-First-Out) methods are followed.
2.

Material Receiving and Inspection



Oversee the receipt of incoming materials. Verify quantity and quality as per purchase order/specifications. Coordinate with quality team for inspections.
3.

Storage and Preservation



Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage/loss. Organize items systematically using labels, bins, and racks. Maintain cleanliness and safety within the store premises.
4.

Issue and Dispatch



Ensure timely issue of materials to departments as per indent. Maintain proper documentation (issue slips, delivery challans). Plan and coordinate dispatch activities if applicable.
5.

Record Keeping and Documentation



Maintain updated stock registers, GRNs, MRNs, and issue records. Use ERP or inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Tally, Zoho) efficiently. Generate daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports.
