Job Summary:

The Stores Incharge will manage the entire stores and inventory function, handle SAP B1 transactions, support purchase operations, and coordinate closely with the Production Planning & Control team to ensure smooth material flow on the shop floor. The role requires strong process knowledge in manufacturing, stores, purchase, and PPC management.

Key Responsibilities:1. Stores & Inventory Management

Oversee daily stores operations: material receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch. Maintain accurate stock levels for raw materials, consumables, tools, and WIP materials. Implement proper material handling, labeling, bin allocation, and

FIFO/FEFO

practices. Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconcile physical stock with SAP B1.

2. SAP B1 Transactions & Reporting

Handle all inventory-related SAP B1 entries: GRN Goods Issue / Goods Return Inventory Transfer Stock Counting Purchase Request (PR) Generate essential SAP reports: stock status, shortages, slow-moving items, consumption reports, and material planning.

3. Purchase Coordination

Raise PRs based on minimum stock levels, consumption trends, and production requirements. Coordinate with the Purchase team for vendor follow-ups and delivery timelines. Inspect incoming materials for correctness (quantity & quality) before GRN posting.

4. Manufacturing & Material Process Knowledge

Understand BOM, routing, work orders, and production material requirements. Ensure material readiness for daily/weekly production schedules. Maintain accurate records of material issues to production.

5. Production Planning & Control (PPC) - Shop Floor Management

Coordinate with PPC for material availability and production scheduling. Provide daily material availability updates to PPC and Production Supervisors. Track WIP material movement and ensure smooth flow on the shop floor. Monitor consumption vs. plan and highlight shortages or delays. Support PPC in executing and managing Production Orders in SAP B1.

6. Documentation, Compliance & 5S

Maintain inward/outward registers, stock movement files, and return notes. Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety procedures, and audit requirements. Maintain 5S, housekeeping, and process discipline in the store area.

Qualification:

Diploma / BE / B.Tech / Any Degree Certification in SAP B1 or Materials Management preferred
