Maintain and manage stock levels of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods.
Ensure timely receipt, storage, and issuance of materials to departments.
Monitor stock movement and update inventory records using ERP / Excel.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and shelf-life monitoring of materials.
Coordinate with the Purchase and Production departments for material planning and availability.
Manage inward/outward logistics, GRN preparation, and documentation.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices and proper housekeeping of the store.
Monitor material loss, damages, or expiry and take corrective actions.
Maintain all store records and documents as per ISO or internal audit standards.
Train and supervise store assistants or helpers.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (SAP, Tally, or ERP)
Understanding of manufacturing store processes
Good communication and coordination skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Familiarity with safety and compliance norms in stores
Ability to handle physical inventory and stock movement
