Role Summary

Tetra Edge Infra is seeking an experienced Stores In-Charge to manage inventory control, material movement, and documentation for construction projects. The role ensures accurate material tracking, timely availability of resources, and strict control over stock, supporting smooth and uninterrupted project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Management

Manage inventory of construction materials including cement, steel, formwork, consumables, and spares

Ensure optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory

Maintain stock registers and inventory records

Material Inward & Outward Control

Verify materials received against purchase orders and delivery challans

Coordinate with QA/QC for material inspection and approvals

Issue materials to site teams as per authorized requests and maintain issue records

Documentation & Records

Maintain accurate records for material inward, outward, and returns

Prepare and update GRNs, stock ledgers, and material issue slips

Ensure proper filing of store documents for audits and reviews

Stock Reconciliation & Control

Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation

Identify shortages, excess, or damaged materials and report discrepancies

Implement measures to prevent material loss, pilferage, or misuse

Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with Purchase, Site, QA/QC, and Accounts teams

Provide daily and monthly stock reports and material status updates

Support audits and management inspections

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of inventory and store management practices

Familiarity with construction materials and site operations

Good documentation, record-keeping, and reconciliation skills

Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP store modules preferred

Strong organizational and coordination abilities

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / Any Graduate (Civil background preferred)

Minimum 4-6 years of experience in store or inventory roles in construction projects

Experience handling site stores is an added advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
