Job Description

Responsibilities

Receive, identify, and verify engineering spare parts, tools, consumables, and maintenance materials as per delivery notes and purchase orders. Maintain a well-organized storage system for critical spares, ensuring proper labeling, binning, and preservation to avoid rust, damage, or deterioration. Issue spares and tools to the maintenance/engineering team based on approved indent requests and record all transactions accurately in the system. Track stock levels of critical and fast-moving engineering components; monitor reorder points and raise purchase requisitions to avoid breakdown delays. Conduct periodic physical stock audits of spares, tools, lubricants, and consumables and reconcile with the system records. Coordinate with the Maintenance, Purchase, and Production departments to plan spare availability for preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
