Role Objective
To support the stores department in receiving, managing, issuing, and tracking materials, tools, and components required for transformer and panel production and service activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in receiving incoming materials and checking quantity and condition as per delivery challan/invoice.
Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and storage of items in the store.
Issue materials to production as per material requisition slips (MRS).
Maintain inventory records (manual or using ERP/store software).
Tag and maintain records of tools and consumables.
Conduct regular physical stock checks and report discrepancies.
Coordinate with procurement and quality departments regarding shortages or non-conforming materials.
Help in scrap disposal, stock reconciliation, and stock audits.
Ensure cleanliness and safety in the storage area.
Qualifications
ITI / Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical / Store Management) OR
3 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management in a manufacturing setup
