Role Overview
The Stores Admin will be responsible for efficiently managing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring accurate handling of all materials, maintaining systematic arrangements, and supporting production through proper documentation and inventory control. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with the production team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all
incoming and outgoing materials
, ensuring accurate documentation and safe handling.
Maintain the
store area in a systematic and organized manner
, ensuring easy accessibility and proper storage.
Record and tally daily shift production
, materials issued, and wastage.
Maintain and update the
Stock Ledger
with accuracy and transparency.
Conduct
monthly inventory audits
, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth material flow and availability.
Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and storage of materials as per company standards.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly store reports to management.
Follow safety and compliance guidelines within the store premises.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in
storekeeping, warehouse management
, or a similar role preferred.
Ability to handle large volumes of material movement and documentation.
Strong knowledge of
inventory management practices
.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, stock management tools).
Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Additional Requirements
Willingness to work in
12-hour shifts
(flexible up to 11 hours if needed).
Ability to work independently with responsibility and accountability.
