Position Summary:

Vajra Rubber Products is seeking a diligent and responsible Store Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory, organizing materials, and ensuring that all materials are accurately stored and accessible for production and shipping. The Store Keeper will play a vital role in supporting the company's operations by maintaining a smooth flow of materials and ensuring that stock levels are regularly monitored.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify materials and products against delivery notes. Ensure proper storage of materials in the designated warehouse/storage area to prevent damage. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in regular stock-taking. Organize materials based on type, usage, and storage conditions. Issue materials to different departments based on requisitions and work orders. Ensure proper handling and labeling of materials, including hazardous substances, if applicable. Monitor stock levels, reorder materials when necessary, and report any discrepancies or damages. Maintain cleanliness and order in the storage area to comply with safety and organizational standards. Coordinate with the procurement team for the timely arrival of materials. Keep track of expired, unused, or obsolete materials and assist in disposal according to company policies.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred). Previous experience in materials management, warehouse, or inventory control is a plus. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of inventory management software or systems. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift and move heavy items, when necessary. Good communication skills and a team player.
