Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Store Keeper to manage inventory and materials in our shipbuilding facility. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in store management, especially in a manufacturing or industrial environment, and will ensure efficient handling of materials to support shipbuilding operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs and/or ERP systems. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and safety of all materials. Issue materials as per job requirements to production teams. Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies. Coordinate with procurement and project teams regarding material needs and shortages. Monitor shelf life and condition of stored items and report obsolete or expired inventory. Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the store area. Assist in preparing material reports and documentation for audits.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of shipbuilding materials, tools, and components. Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems. Basic understanding of engineering drawings and specifications (preferred). Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good communication and coordination skills.

Additional Requirements:

Physically fit to handle materials and navigate warehouse areas. Flexible to work extended hours when needed. Understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations.
