The Store Keeper will be responsible for managing inventory of construction materials, tools, and equipment. The role involves handling purchase-related documentation, maintaining inward and outward records, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support smooth site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record
all purchase inwards
(materials, tools, equipment).
Maintain documentation for
purchase orders, goods receipt notes, and invoices
.
Record and track
outward movement
of materials, tools, and equipment issued to sites.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stacking of construction materials.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for replenishment.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inward, outward, and stock balance.
Prevent losses by implementing proper storage, safety, and security measures.
Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the store area.
Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for material requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate or Diploma (preferred in Stores/Inventory/Logistics).
2-5 years of experience as a Store Keeper in a construction company.
Knowledge of
purchase process, inward/outward documentation, and construction materials
.
Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to handle physical stock and maintain accuracy under pressure.
Good communication and coordination skills.
