The Storekeeper will manage daily inventory operations for a QSR, ensuring timely availability of ingredients, proper storage, stock accuracy, and compliance with food safety standards in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, verify, and record all raw materials, ingredients, and packaging items as per invoices and POs
Ensure proper storage of pizza ingredients (cheese, dough, sauces, toppings) as per FIFO/FEFO norms
Issue stock to kitchen and counter teams against approved requisitions
Maintain daily stock registers and inventory software updates
Monitor critical items to avoid stock-outs during peak hours
Conduct daily and monthly stock counts; report variances immediately
Control wastage, pilferage, and expired items
Maintain hygiene, temperature logs, and cleanliness of store areas
Coordinate with central kitchen, vendors, and operations team
Support audits, cost control, and inventory reconciliation
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of QSR/Pizza ingredients & storage standards
Understanding of FIFO, FEFO, and shelf-life management
Basic Excel & POS/inventory system knowledge
Ability to work under pressure and meet operational timelines
Good coordination with kitchen & outlet managers
Educational Qualification
10+2 / Diploma in Hospitality or Supply Chain
Hotel Management background preferred
Experience Requirement
1-2 years of experience in:
Pizza brands
QSR outlets
Cloud kitchens
Hospitality
