Job Description

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory, stock control, and the overall organization of the store/warehouse. This role ensures that all materials, equipment, and products are properly received, recorded, stored, and issued as required, while maintaining accurate records in

Tally

and supporting smooth business operations.

Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials and supplies in Tally. Verify deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes. Organize and maintain stock in a clean, orderly, and accessible manner. Issue materials and supplies to relevant departments upon authorized requests. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with Tally records. Monitor and track stock levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations. Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and storage of items to avoid damage or loss. Maintain accurate store records (receipts, issues, stock balances) in Tally. Coordinate with procurement and other departments to forecast stock requirements. Enforce safety, security, and housekeeping standards in the store/warehouse. Prepare and submit inventory and stock reports using Tally and MS Excel.
Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Clerk, or in warehouse/store management.

Proficiency in Tally ERP

(mandatory).
