Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth functioning of sales, service, and stock handling.
Manage and supervise the store team, including butchers and support staff, ensuring adherence to roles and responsibilities.
Ensure premium customer service and handle customer queries/complaints effectively to achieve high satisfaction levels.
Monitor stock levels, reordering, GRN (Goods Receipt Note), FIFO/FEFO practices, and wastage control.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and strict compliance with food safety standards (FSSAI) and company SOPs.
Oversee display counters and ensure products are fresh, properly labelled, and visually appealing.
Coordinate with Distribution Centre and Quality Control teams for timely product supply and replenishment.
Verify billing, invoicing, and cash handling to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Track store sales performance, prepare reports, and share updates with management.
Train and motivate staff to improve efficiency, service quality, and adherence to SOPs.
Requirements
Graduate/Intermediate in any stream.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Retail Store Operations (preferably in Meat & Seafood/Food Retail).
Strong knowledge of Fish, Meat & Seafood category handling.
Good communication and customer service skills in English and Hindi local language.
Leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive operational excellence.
Basic knowledge of MS Office, POS systems, and reporting.
Ability to work in cold storage environments when required.
