will oversee and ensure the smooth operation of our storage or warehouse facility. He'll be responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, promoting safety, and driving process improvements, efficient, and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
: Supervise daily storage operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods promptly and accurately
Inventory Management
: Conduct physical counts and cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure inventory records match actual inventory
Staff Supervision
: Lead and assign work to storage/warehouse staff, oversee scheduling, conduct performance evaluations, and support staff development
Process Optimization
: Identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement--implement best practices, SOPs, or space optimization strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Cross-Department Coordination
: Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, procurement, production, or other teams to align stock levels and fulfill distribution needs efficiently
Qualifications
Education
: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
Experience
:
2+ years in warehouse or storage operations, including previous leadership or supervisory role
Technical Skills
:
Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory software, and Microsoft Office--especially Excel
Personal Competencies

Strong leadership, organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
Keen attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement and team development
Additional (Optional) Qualifications
Food industry or cold storage experience
Experience managing subcontractors or third-party staff in contracted warehouse operations
