To manage raw materials, consumables, and spares efficiently, maintain accurate stock levels, and ensure timely purchasing from approved vendors at the best price. This role is responsible for avoiding stockouts and excess inventory while keeping proper records and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Stores Management
Maintain accurate daily stock of raw materials, consumables, and spares.
Conduct physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
Issue materials to production against requisition slips, ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out).
Maintain inward and outward registers (manual & Google Sheets).
Highlight low stock itemsand prepare daily stock status for management.

Purchase Management
Raise Purchase Requests when items reach reorder level.
Prepare & issue Purchase Orders (POs) after approval.
Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective procurement.
Negotiate delivery schedules, credit terms, and quality with vendors.
Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve supply issues.
3.
Vendor Coordination
Develop and maintain a database of reliable vendors with lead times.
Ensure minimum two suppliers per critical item (to avoid dependency).
Evaluate vendor performance (delivery, quality, pricing).
Handle emergency procurement when required, with management approval.
4.
Reporting
Daily: Update stock balance sheet (Google Sheet / ERP).
Weekly: Submit "Stock vs Reorder List" to management.
Monthly: Summarize purchases, pending orders, vendor performance, and any stock discrepancies.
Key Skills Required
Strong record-keeping and attention to detail.
Knowledge of inventory management (FIFO, safety stock, reorder levels).
Basic negotiation and vendor handling skills.
Computer literacy (Google Sheets / Excel / Email).
Good communication for vendor follow-ups.
Honest, reliable, and disciplined in money & material handling.
Profile Preference
Graduate / Diploma in Commerce, Stores, or Supply Chain (preferred).
3-5 years experience in Stores + Purchase in manufacturing environment.
Female married (preferred, for stability) OR experienced male candidate.
Age: 28-40 years.
Should live within reasonable distance from factory for daily reporting.
