Job Description

The Stores Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory and materials required for the efficient operation of the Ready-Mix Concrete plant. This role involves handling receipts, storage, and issuance of materials, ensuring proper documentation, stock accuracy, and maintaining minimum stock levels to avoid plant downtime.

Key Responsibilities

:

Inventory Management

: Monitor and maintain minimum stock levels of raw materials (cement, admixtures, spare parts, etc.). Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical stock with ERP records.

Material Handling

: Receive and inspect incoming materials for quantity and quality. Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and storage of all items. Safely issue materials as per requirement and keep proper records.

Documentation & Reporting

: Maintain all store records including GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Issue Slips, and Return Slips. Coordinate with procurement and accounts departments for invoice processing. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.

Coordination & Communication

: Work closely with production, maintenance, and procurement teams. Liaise with vendors for material delivery and discrepancies.

Compliance & Safety

: Ensure storage practices are in compliance with safety and environmental norms. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store area.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
