Inventory Management
: Oversee the receiving, recording, and issuing of raw materials.
Stock Control
: Maintain accurate inward and outward registers, conduct daily/weekly stock counts, and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Material Handling
: Ensure proper storage, organization, and issuance of materials using proper systems.
Supplier Coordination
: Arrange quotations, negotiate with suppliers, and coordinate with them for timely deliveries.
Quality Assurance
: Send materials for inspection, check materials against invoices, and focus on quality control for all incoming and outgoing goods.
Safety and Housekeeping
: Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the store area and enforce relevant health and safety regulations.
Team Management
: Supervise, train, and motivate the store team to ensure efficient operations and adherence to procedures.
Record Keeping
: Maintain computerized stock records and other essential documentation for efficient stock control and reporting.
Reporting
: Report on stock levels, issues, and performance to upper management.
