1-2 years of experience
in store or warehouse functions, looking to grow in a structured operational environment. The Store Supervisor will work under the guidance of the Warehouse Executive and will be responsible for supervising day-to-day tasks such as inventory handling, e-commerce order processing, team coordination, and supporting logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management
Support receipt, unloading, and systematic storage of goods.
Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and bin allocation of inventory.
Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical stock audits.
Track low-stock and over-stock items and escalate to Warehouse Executive.
3. Store Operations & Workflow Execution
Allocate daily tasks to pickers and helpers and ensure timelines are met.
Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal movement and accessibility.
Monitor equipment/material availability (packing materials, labels, etc.) and reorder as needed.
4. Team Supervision
Supervise a small team of warehouse staff including pickers, loaders, and packers.
Ensure adherence to daily schedules and warehouse cleanliness.
Provide on-the-job training and orientation for new staff.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), stock registers, and order dispatch logs.
Ensure all data is captured correctly for audits and stock reconciliations.
Share daily reports with the Warehouse Executive.
6. Logistics Coordination
Coordinate with delivery partners and 3PLs for pickups and deliveries.
Prepare shipments and ensure proper handover with documentation.
Follow up on delayed pickups and returns, and assist in resolving basic logistic issues.
7. SOP & Safety Compliance
Ensure warehouse staff follow all operational SOPs and safety protocols.
Conduct regular checks on cleanliness, packaging quality, and product handling.
Report any damages, stock issues, or safety violations to the supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum
1-2 years
of experience in warehouse/store operations or supervision.
Experience in
handling e-commerce orders
is highly preferred.
Familiarity with stock entry, dispatch processes, and basic warehouse systems.
Basic computer literacy (Excel, email, or data entry tools) is an added advantage.
10+2 or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
