The Store Sales Executive will be responsible for providing an exceptional in-store shopping experience to customers while achieving sales and service excellence. The role focuses on educating customers about
lab-grown diamonds
, showcasing fine jewellery designs, and building lasting relationships that reflect the brand's values of trust, innovation, and sustainability.
Greet customers warmly and understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
Present and explain the features, benefits, and value of
lab-grown diamonds
versus mined diamonds.
Promote and sell jewellery products while meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
Offer personalized recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
Handle inquiries, objections, and conversions with professionalism and confidence.
2. Product Knowledge & Brand Representation
Maintain thorough knowledge of diamond quality parameters (4Cs - Cut, Colour, Clarity, Carat), certification standards, and jewellery design trends.
Stay updated on new collections, product materials, and sustainable sourcing stories.
Represent the brand with integrity, elegance, and technical competence.
3. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through follow-ups, after-sales service, and loyalty programs.
Manage customer data and preferences using CRM tools for repeat business.
Handle exchanges, returns, or repair requests with empathy and accuracy.
4. Store Operations & Visual Merchandising
Ensure the jewellery counters and displays are always clean, attractive, and well-stocked.
Support inventory management, tagging, stock counting, and replenishment.
Maintain proper billing, packaging, and documentation as per company policies.
Assist in daily opening and closing procedures, including cash handling.
5. Teamwork & Reporting
Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer service.
Report daily sales, customer feedback, and market insights to the Store Manager.
Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance selling and technical skills.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Minimum HSC / Graduate in any discipline.
Experience:
1-4 years of retail sales experience, preferably in jewellery, luxury, or lifestyle segments.
Freshers with excellent communication and presentation skills may also apply.
Skills & Attributes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales orientation and customer-first approach.
Good understanding of jewellery aesthetics, diamond grading, and luxury service etiquette.
Basic computer knowledge (billing systems, POS, CRM).
Pleasant personality, confidence, and honesty.
Fluency in English, Hindi, and local language preferred.
