Roles and Responsibilities of a Retail Associate

Customer Service:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Understand customer needs and provide product recommendations. Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns efficiently.

Sales Support:

Promote and upsell products to increase store sales. Achieve individual and store sales targets. Stay updated on ongoing promotions, discounts, and offers.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services. Explain product features, benefits, and usage to customers.

Stock Management:

Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise. Restock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed. Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.

Store Maintenance:

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store. Follow visual merchandising guidelines. Arrange displays to attract customer attention.

Billing and Cash Handling:

Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, or digital payments. Generate and provide receipts. Maintain accurate cash drawer records and ensure end-of-day balancing.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other associates and supervisors. Participate in team meetings and training sessions. Support new staff through guidance and assistance.

Compliance and Safety:

Follow store policies and procedures. Adhere to health, safety, and security regulations.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
