Job Title: Procurement Manager Department: Procurement & Supply Chain Reports To: Head of Supply Chain / Operations Director Location: Chakan Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and managing the organization's procurement activities to ensure cost-effective, timely, and high-quality acquisition of goods and services. This role involves strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, compliance adherence, and continuous process improvement to support operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: 1. Procurement Strategy ? Develop and implement effective procurement strategies annually. ? Align procurement initiatives with business goals and cost-saving targets. 2. Supplier Management ? Evaluate and manage supplier performance. ? Ensure relationships with suppliers meet quality and reliability standards. 3. Purchase Order Management ? Oversee and optimize the purchase order process. ? Ensure 95% on-time purchase order fulfillment. 4. Cost Control ? Monitor procurement spending and ensure compliance with budget limits. ? Identify cost-saving opportunities across procurement functions. 5. Quality Control ? Enforce quality standards for purchased goods. ? Target zero defective goods from suppliers. 6. Inventory Management ? Coordinate with inventory teams to optimize stock levels. ? Minimize stockouts to less than 2%. 7. Contract Management ? Lead the negotiation, drafting, and renewal of supplier contracts. ? Review all contracts on an annual basis. 8. Risk Management ? Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies. ? Reduce procurement-related risks by at least 20% annually. 9. Compliance ? Ensure 100% compliance with company policies and external regulations. ? Conduct periodic audits and maintain procurement documentation. 10. Reporting and Analysis ? Generate and submit procurement reports quarterly. ? Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions. 11. Team Management ? Lead and mentor the procurement team. ? Conduct at least 2 training sessions per year to enhance skills and knowledge. 12. Supplier Development ? Collaborate with suppliers to improve performance. ? Reduce supplier complaints by 10% through continuous engagement and development. 13. Category Management ? Manage procurement for specific categories. ? Drive cost minimization in key categories. 14. Negotiation ? Lead negotiations with vendors to secure best pricing and terms. ? Ensure competitive pricing for high-value items. 15. Process Improvement ? Identify and implement process enhancements. ? Deliver at least 2 procurement process improvements annually. Key Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred). ? Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. ? Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills. ? Proficiency in procurement systems and ERP software. ? Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques. ? Familiarity with contract law and supply chain risk management. ? Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): ? On-time PO delivery rate: ? 95% ?
