Develop and execute purchasing strategies.
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable pricing and quality.
Process and manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
Monitor and manage supplier performance.
Stay updated on market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement new technologies.
Inventory & Store Management:
Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock while minimizing excess.
Create and maintain accurate inventory records.
Conduct stock audits and inventory reconciliations.
Oversee product storage practices and ensure quality.
Handle discrepancies and quality issues with received goods.
Collaboration & Strategy:
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., sales, production, finance) to forecast and determine material requirements.
Collaborate with other managers to ensure purchasing aligns with sales targets and operational goals.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to procurement.
Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the supply chain.
