We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Assistant to support the procurement function. The role involves vendor coordination, material sourcing, purchase documentation, and site-level verification to ensure timely and accurate supply of materials as per project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in sourcing and procurement of materials as per BOQ and site requirements
Prepare and process purchase orders, GRNs, and maintain procurement records
Coordinate with vendors for pricing, delivery schedules, and payment follow-ups
Maintain inventory and material tracking records
Verify bills, challans, and related documentation
Coordinate with project, store, and accounts teams for smooth material flow
Visit project sites for material inspection, quantity verification, and quality checks
Travel to sites as required to monitor material receipt and usage
Develop and maintain a vendor database and support negotiations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / Graduate in any discipline (Supply Chain / Mechanical preferred)
1-2 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement (HVAC / MEP preferred)
Willingness and ability to travel to project sites and work in site environments
Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP systems
Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred
